Peringa United Association Football Club is growing from strength to strength. Our mission is to be "Taranaki's first choice club for the footballing community with professional facilities and strong leadership in a winning environment"

We are looking for Junior and Senior parents and members to take on Executive and Committee roles for the 2019-2020 year. What a great opportunity to be involved in the club as we strive to achieve our mission statement.

Notice is hereby given of the Annual General Meeting of Peringa United Association Football Club Inc to be held in the clubrooms at Peringa Park on Sunday 24 November 2019 at 3pm.
Would all those who wish to make themselves available for selection or reselection as committee members please advise the Secretary Hamish Gunson ([email protected]) by no later than 22 November 2019.

Junior football begins this Saturday.

Your coach should have been in contact with you regarding your team.

No more junior registrations are being accepted as our teams are full.

Please ensure you have paid your subs, either online to the account in your xero invoice, or at the clubrooms for eftpos..

Remember the junior academy this Thursday from 4.30pm for 9th-12th grades.

Senior football returned to Peringa United Football club this past weekend.
The club began the season with a fantastic 4 out 5 wins, including a first win for our Premier coach, a hat-trick and goal of the year contender for our Championship team, 7 goals for the Division 1 team, and a remarkable 11-0 win for the ladies!!
The Divison 2 team toiled hard in their loss as the only team to play away from home.

In round 2, our ladies are away at Inglewood, while all 4 Men's teams will be playing New Plymouth Rangers at Merrilands Domain.  
A great day to come and support your club!

Junior teams are being finalised, and will be communicated this week.

GO PERINGA!

NZ Football are introducing a new rule called the "Retreat Line".  This is being rolled out for junior grades from 9-13 years old.  The Retreating Line rule enables and encourages our young footballers to start to develop and enjoy a style of play in keeping with worlds best practice and New Zealand Football’s playing philosophy.

The implemented rule has been met with fantastic feedback from players, coaches, spectators and parents alike.

The Retreating Line helps create a game which is enjoyable to play, watch and coach.

The rule will create more opportunities for players to:​
- Build attacking play from the back by playing out from the goalkeeper
- Recognise opportunities to play through the thirds
- Identify movements to receive and play between opposition units
- Learn effective ways to press from the front
- Be educated in the offside rule and learn how to time forwards runs (13th grade+)

REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW OPEN for all Junior and Senior members intending on playing football for the 2019 season.

Peringa United AFC is excited to unveil Domenico Squatriti as Men’s First Team coach for the 2019 Taranaki Premiership season.

Dom brings a wealth of experience to the club; he has both played and coached in the Taranaki Premiership, Lotto Federation League and Central League. His 20+ year coaching background also includes time in charge of Taranaki age group sides, and time working with NPBHS 1st and 2nd XI squads.
It is anticipated that Men’s First Team training with Dom will commence February 4, with a further announcement in due course.

The club once again wishes to invite prospective male and female players of all levels to our 2019 Senior Muster, taking place 6PM Monday January 21st at the Peringa United clubrooms.
